We maintain an active Board of Directors who help manage it and ensure that it achieves its charter.
Chairman
Kevin Hancock (1986)
Oversees Board of Directors, Association structure, day to day operations, procuring Liaisons and presides over Board of Director Meetings.
Vice-Chairman
Christopher Olaes (1984)
Oversees Grants Committee, and co-ordinate relationship between Association and MMHS, MMHS Foundation, PBO and Mira Mesa Community, handle Chairman duties in Chairman’s absence.
Communications Directors
Dawn Schofield (1986), Ceasar Olaes (1986)
Responsible for the transparent communication and maintaining consistent message between Board, Members and general public.
Treasury Director
Aileen Joy Aquino Cauley (1984)
Responsible for managing budget compliance and investment fund.
Events Directors
Steve Eicher (1986), Jennifer Mique (1987)
Oversees Events Committee, responsible for the successful co-ordination, logistics and execution of all Association events, including (but not limited to) the Homecoming Tailgate Party, Alumni Pub Crawl, Spring Mixer and Summer Picnic.
Marketing Directors

Oversees Marketing Committee, responsible for the development and deployment of all association marketing strategies.
Benefits Director

Responsible for the acquiring, management and deployment of all membership benefits.
Membership Director

Oversees Membership Committee, responsible for establishing and implementing a successful strategy to acquire and maintain active memberships and In Memoriam notifications.
Reunions Director

Responsible for contacting and coordinating major donations to MMHS 10, 20 and 30 year reunions, and minor donations to all other MMHS classes holding reunion events each year.
Scholarships Director

Oversees Scholarship Committee, responsible for defining, maintaining and executing annual scholarship awards.
Board Members are required to attend our monthly board meetings. Each board member shall report to the board the status of their specific responsibilities, as well as participate in any board discussions and/or votes. Liaisons
To facilitate complete transparency between the association and Mira Mesa High School, and to ensure that our efforts support the needs of MMHS, we maintain five (5) yearly Liaison positions, as follows:
Foundation Liaison
Facilitates interaction between MMHS Foundation and association.
PBO Liaison
Open
Facilitates interaction between ALL PBO groups and association.
Student Body Liaison

Facilitates interaction between MMHS Student Body and association.
Faculty Liaison

Facilitates interaction between MMHS faculty and association.
Team Liaison
Open
Facilitates interaction between MMHS teams, student organizations and association.
Liaisons are invited (but not required) to attend our monthly Board Meetings. During Board Meetings, Liaison’s are allocated limited time allotments to submit requests, questions and/or concerns to the association.
