Membership Perks
Understanding that high school alumni associations are rare, the Mira Mesa High School (MMHS) Alumni Association makes every effort to ensure that our membership dues are minimal while still being able to offer real value. Our month to month membership dues are less than a fancy cup of Starbucks coffee, and our lifetime dues are less than the annual dues of most college alumni associations. Membership dues ensure that we are able to host the four (4) events per year with extremely low participation costs for our members, family and guests. The vast majority of our funds (85%) are donated directly back to causes outlined in our Charter, such as student scholarships and support for current MMHS student programs, teams and organizations. The remaining 15% goes towards administrative fees to maintain our 501(c)(3) status, membership gifts, and a small reserve for ancillary expenditures.
Low cost & affordable membership options
Month to month dues are less than a fancy cup of Starbucks coffee, annual dues are less than your average bar tab, and lifetime dues are less than the annual dues of most college alumni associations. It can’t get any more affordable than that!
Donations are 100% Tax Deductible
The Mira Mesa High School (MMHS) Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. 100% of donations are tax deductible. A portion of membership dues may be tax deductible, please consult with your Tax professional for details. EIN 84-4150554

Scholarships & Grants

A member profile may be created on our website for every member who chooses to be, including links to our member’s social media and business profiles.
Exclusive Events
Every member is invited to the MMHS Alumni Association’s exclusive events. Annual and Lifetime members may receive discounts or member gifts at special events.
Private Networking Groups
Members are given access to our private Facebook and LinkedIn groups, perfect for keeping in touch with old friends, making new friends that share common memories, posting/searching for jobs and business networking.
Alumni Merchandise
Access to the MMHS Alumni Association store, offering everything from apparel to promotional items. All proceeds from the our store goes directly back into the MMHS Alumni Association General Fund.
Targeted Business Advertising
Special pricing on business marketing opportunities to association members in our newsletter and on our website, plus first options on business advertising at public events that the MMHS Alumni Association throws and/or sponsors.
Honorary Members
Honorary members must be nominated by an active MMHS Alumni Association member and approved by our Board of Directors. Honorary members are approved and announced only once a year, at our annual Homecoming Tailgate Party. Once approved, Honorary members receive all the same benefits as our Lifetime members.
